2026-2027 Parent Acknowledgment Forms
The annual Parent Acknowledgment Forms are available in the Focus Parent Portal. Parents and guardians must complete a separate set of forms for each student enrolled in an SDIRC school and update their parent contact information for the new school year.
These forms include required annual acknowledgments and consent information related to transportation, student meals, student conduct, academic honesty, internet access, media and directory information, health services, library access, water safety and other required notices.
Forms must be completed before families can access the remainder of the Focus Parent Portal.
The district’s goal is to receive all completed forms by September 18.
For technology assistance, families may use a computer available in their school’s enrollment office. For assistance with Focus, call the Help Desk at 772-564-3066.

Our Vero Beach Middle School family brought the energy, enthusiasm, and Tomahawk pride to the SDIRC THRIVE 2026 Celebration yesterday. During the school roll call and dance competition our staff showed exactly what it means to be One School. One Team. One Tomahawk Family.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make our roll call one to remember. Your excitement and school spirit set the tone for an amazing year ahead, and we're proud to represent VBMS with such passion.

Families, please plan ahead and help students arrive on time and ready to learn. The times listed are the official school start times. Students arriving after the listed start time will be considered late.
Middle and K–8 Schools: 8:10 a.m.–2:51 p.m.
Supervision is provided 30 minutes before and after school.

The Vero Beach Middle School PTA will help support our students, staff, and school community through events, fundraisers, teacher appreciation activities, and family engagement opportunities throughout the year. Whether you can volunteer regularly, help occasionally, or simply become a member, every level of involvement makes a difference.
PTA is a great way to stay connected, meet other families, and help make VBMS the best it can be for our students.
Join us and be part of the team supporting our Tomahawks! If you are interested or have questions, please contact Chelsea Castillo at Chelsea.Castillo@indianriverschools.org
